Flight Operations
How do I log a flight?
We use the flight-tracker system developed by vAMSYS called Pegasus. To log a flight, go to the “Resources” tab on the Dashboard sidebar and find the “Pegasus ACARS” section, where you can download the necessary files.
In addition to Pegasus, you will need the latest version of FSUIPC (available at https://www.fsuipc.com/) for your flight simulator.
Once you have everything set up, book a flight on our Dashboard, open Pegasus, and start the flight tracking system to log your flight.
What kind of flights can I fly?
We offer up-to-date TAAG Angola Airlines operations. These flights are regularly updated, and we provide company routes that you can safely use or refer to. Our focus is on current operations, so we do not offer charter or historical routes. However, we do offer delivery flights of aircraft upon request.
Are there any restrictions on aircraft or routes?
Our routes are assigned based on the aircraft types used by TAAG Angola Airlines in real life. Depending on the accumulated flight hours, pilots are limited to operating specific aircraft types and designated routes in accordance.
Can I fly on networks like VATSIM or IVAO?
Yes, you can fly on VATSIM and IVAO. We highly encourage our Pilots to fly on these networks, and the majority of our pilots enjoy flying on VATSIM.
Do you host events or group flights?
Yes, we host select focus city events each month, which are community-voted. We also organize group flights for special occasions, such as VATSIM events. All of our events reward participants with bonus points.
Where can I find aircraft liveries and scenery for my simulator?
You can find all known liveries on our Discord. Simply navigate to the “Liveries” section in the sidebar, where you’ll find listed for easy download.
For sceneries, we recommend visiting flightsim.to, or you can also search for sceneries through your preferred search engine to discover a wide variety of options.
Specifically for Luanda (FNLU), we recommend the scenerie developed by us, you can find it in our discord.
